The British-Romanian University was established in the year 2000. The British-Romanian
holding IDM Kennedy Group provides the financial support and physical facilities.
The British-Romanian University started with only one faculty: Business Faculty.
The British-Romanian University has been thoroughly inspected by both the Ministry
of Education and Research and the National Academic Accreditation and Evaluation Council.
Professor dr. Ioan Ianos, general director of the University Education Division of the
Ministry of Education and Research expressed his opinion about the British-Romanian
University in a newspaper interview *): "
We have inspected this university 6 weeks ago, and the result was favorable.
From all the private universities, it could be the best."
Also, professor Calin Oprea, member of the National Academic Accreditation and Evaluation
Council declared in the same article: "it is something I have not seen before in Europe,
maybe only in the US".
